DECORAH, Iowa (KWWL) — One driver was killed and another was injured in a two-car crash at the intersection off of Pole Line Road, south of Lawinn Road, near Decorah Saturday afternoon.
According to the Iowa State Patrol, around 4:30 p.m., 53-year old Andrew Nesset of Wisconsin was driving south in a northbound lane when he crashed into a Ford F-150 truck.
Nessett was not wearing his seatbelt, while the driver of the truck was wearing their seatbelt. The driver of the truck is 75-year old Lyle Phillips, and he was taken to a nearby hospital in Decorah.
The investigation into the crash is still on-going.
